Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science base program or business administration (high preference for a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Engineering). Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years managing complex technical teams.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in data analysis, automation, or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or R).
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with automation platforms (Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, etc.).
  • Knowledge of databases, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma or process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in scripting or programming for automation (Python, VBA).
  • Familiarity with ERP/MES systems in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive, manual, or inefficient processes.
  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using tools such as Power Automate, Python, RPA platforms, or similar technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and increase operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain automated processes, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights, trends, and actionable recommendations.
  • Perform root cause analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations between systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across platforms.
  • Support data governance and compliance practices.
  • Work closely with business units (e.g., operations, finance, QA, supply chain) to understand requirements.
  • Communicate findings and automation solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide training and documentation for implemented tools and processes.
  • Uphold all MLI policies and “MLI Code of Conduct.”
  • Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations.
  • Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required.
