This role involves developing automation controls platforms, specifying control types, developing software, and ensuring adherence to industry safety standards. The engineer will also lead and direct the efforts of other department engineers, manage customer technical matters, and coordinate with various departments to solve technical issues. Additionally, the position requires proposing improved work processes, mentoring co-workers, acting as a subject matter expert, and managing a commercialized product line through regular code base updates and improvements.
