About The Position

3MD Inc. dba Denali Advanced Integration seeks a qualified full-time Automation Applications Engineer in Fort Wayne, IN to install, maintain and troubleshoot automation systems using machine and computer vision technologies. Duties will include research, design, development, and testing of robotic applications; and collaborating directly with clients to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of automated solutions. The Automation Applications Engineer will provide support to the Automation Engineering team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, or foreign degree equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience in design, installation and configuration of automation systems using machine vision technologies and integrating AWS Machine Learning or similar platforms.
  • 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of automation equipment including machine vision and machine learning components.
  • 3 years of experience in testing and quality assurance of automation equipment including machine vision accuracy, machine learning performance, and overall system efficiency.
  • 3 years of experience in client interaction to understand their automation, machine vision, and machine learning requirements and provide technical support.
  • 3 years of experience in maintaining documentation of automation installations, configurations, machine vision settings, and machine learning models.
  • 3 years of experience in safety compliance during installation, maintenance, and repair of automation systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot automation systems using machine and computer vision technologies.
  • Research, design, development, and testing of robotic applications.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of automated solutions.
  • Provide support to the Automation Engineering team.
