Supporting customers and outside sales team selecting and implementing automation products. The position also requires collaboration with vendors to ensure optimal product selection, as well as internal support for sales teams through technical guidance, product interchanges, bill-of-material management, and supplier updates. Own the entire sales cycle from quote to implementation with engineering team/panel shop. VFD Start up support. Collaborate with Account Managers. Support key accounts who consistently purchase automation products from Apex Industrial Automation. Support can include training, product enhancements, and programming support. Collaborate with vendors at customer sites when necessary to determine the best products to select for those customers. Support Automation Sales Specialist and inside sales with product selection, interchange, bill of material management and supplier updates. Continuous training to stay current with primary vendor’s new products and technologies.
