Automatic Door Technician
About The Position
The DH Pace Company, an industry leader in door distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair, is seeking an Automatic Pedestrian Door (APD) Technician. This role involves installing and repairing a variety of commercial doors and hardware, including dock doors, high-speed rolling doors, commercial entry doors, and automatic pedestrian doors. The technician will also identify customer needs for products and services and operate in a safety-conscious manner. DH Pace is a family-owned business with a strong history and a wide reach across the continental United States.
Requirements
- Able to safely lift 100 pounds
- Must Possess a valid driver’s license and have good driving record
- Experienced Automatic Pedestrian Door (APD) Technicians or individuals with Electromechanical Technician experience
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Welding experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Install and/or repair a wide range of commercial door and door hardware including: roll up doors also known as dock doors, dock equipment, high speed rolling doors, commercial entry doors, and automatic pedestrian doors
- Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
- Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
