Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience installing or servicing automatic doors or similar systems.
  • AAADM certified or have completed automatic door safety training.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently in field environments with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately complete service documentation and work orders.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in non-climate-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, service, and maintain automatic doors, automatic operators, ADA operators, and commercial entrance systems across a variety of customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, low-voltage, sensor, activation, and control-related issues while providing outstanding customer service and ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Installing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining automatic doors and entrance systems.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, low-voltage, sensor, activation, and control-related issues.
  • Diagnosing equipment problems and recommending solutions to improve system performance.
  • Meeting with customers on-site to review completed work and ensure satisfaction.
  • Completing service calls, work orders, and job documentation accurately and on time.
  • Tracking parts, materials, and labor while coordinating with office support staff.
  • Maintaining inventory and organization of your company-issued service vehicle.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional job site at all times.
