Automatic Door Technician - Port St. Lucie
About The Position
The DH Pace Company is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Technician in Port St. Lucie, FL. This role involves working on a variety of automatic door systems, including revolving, sliding, folding, and swinging doors. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical and electrical aptitude and experience with access control, hollow metal, or auto doors. DH Pace is a family-owned, privately held business with over 60 offices across the continental United States, celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026. They are an industry leader in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred
- Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
- Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
- AAADM Certification Required

Responsibilities
- Install and/or repair a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding and revolving doors
- Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
- Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner
- Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
- Other duties as assigned
