About The Position

This role combines physical and organizational tasks, offering a blend of blue-collar and white-collar work. The Automatic Door Shop Coordinator will be responsible for managing shop inventory, assisting field service technicians, handling shipments, performing data entry, and preparing for installations. The position also involves hands-on tasks such as building frames, glazing glass, rebuilding gearboxes, testing parts, and assembling custom pivots. The typical workday involves starting with restocking technician vans, verifying returned parts, managing incoming shipments, stocking inventory, entering data into a cloud system, and performing various assembly and maintenance tasks. The day concludes with securing the shop and heading home.
