About The Position

Allegion, through its brand Stanley Access Technologies, is seeking an Automatic Door Service Technician in Calgary, AB. Stanley Access Technologies is a leader in manufacturing, installing, and servicing automatic doors. This role involves performing service, repair, and preventative maintenance on automatic doors, maintaining customer relations, and managing vehicle inventory and company property.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication skills.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, stand on concrete for long periods, and work in various climates.
• Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, crawl, and work overhead.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for night/weekend work or "On Call" shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience servicing automated doors
• Prior experience in the Electrical Troubleshooting preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, and preventative maintenance work in accordance with the service program for the specific customer.
• Accurately record work record details, productive versus travel time, and parts used for each job.
• Stay updated on changes to Stanley equipment and Ansi156.10 standards.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and property responsibly.
• Manage inventory for the service vehicle and keep an inventory log.
• Maintain excellent customer relations and provide high-quality service.
• Assist and instruct others in service methods.
