About The Position

The Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS System Attendant) support and oversee real time AS/RS performance. Their primary function is to identify problems and help team quickly resolve problems. Additionally, they are accountable for identifying trends in faults and losses within the AS/RS and then helping to lead continuous improvement efforts in order to eliminate those losses. Work to ensure that customer orders are being properly entered into the system and the system is working to fill those orders. Quickly identify and resolve system faults. Run reports to ensure that orders are being filled in a timely manner. Help with the optimization and the AS/RS in order to continue to drive efficiency and productivity. Execute processes to make sure that the inventory is accurate. Continue to develop tools and processes to ensure the cycle counting is occurring regularly and efficiently. Quickly resolve stock issues. Work with the AS/RS and teams to improve the efficiency of the AS/RS and the associated work systems. Identify fault trends and lead problem solving efforts to eliminate the top faults. Ensure adherence to Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies and Practices. Validate that accurate data exists in the system. Ensure accurate ongoing inventory of the warehouse through Savanna reports. Provide direction on improvement areas around inventory. Explain efficiency reporting. Work with the operations staff to identify key improvement areas. Work with operators and supervisors to define improved procedures based on identified improvement areas. Resolve faults and stops within the AS/RS system.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems / processes
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Requires Experience in manufacturing software (ERP, MRP, MPS, WMS, PLC)
  • Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
