About The Position

Reflexive Concepts is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to develop Python-based automated tests using frameworks such as pytest and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or Bamboo. The role requires Python development, familiarity with version control systems, and knowledge of common networking protocols and protocol analysis. Candidates must also meet the stated education and experience qualifications and demonstrate knowledge and experience across specified software engineering and development areas.

Requirements

• Python development experience, preferably using virtual environments.
• Experience with Python test automation frameworks such as pytest.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Experience with version control software such as Git and Subversion.
• Knowledge of common networking protocols such as TCP/IP, MPLS, and Ethernet; protocol analysis experience is preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience with a bachelor's degree.
• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics; four years of equivalent related military experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree. A master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is also listed.
• Knowledge and experience in at least three of the following: system requirements analysis, software system design, software system development, software system integration, or software system testing.
• Experience in at least four of the following: developing software applications in C, C++, or Java; developing applications for Unix, Linux, or Windows; developing DLLs for Windows; developing on computer telephony platforms using computer technology cards such as Dialogic; object-oriented programming; working knowledge of common protocols or standards such as TCP/IP, SNMP, H.323, X.25, 802.11, 802.16, SIP, MEGACO, or MGCP; web development with knowledge of XML, PHP, MySQL, ColdFusion, or Apache; script writing using Perl, Python, Bourne shell, C shell, or other proprietary scripting languages; database experience with Sybase, Oracle, or Microsoft; reverse engineering and software analysis; Unix (Linux) kernel knowledge; or bit-level data analysis.

• Protocol analysis experience.
