The Worker(s) will provide services as a member of the project team to implement four standardized NASWA SIDES exchanges: Additional Fact-Finding, Determinations, Monetary Charges, and Benefit Charges. This role is responsible for activities across all phases of the system development life cycle, including external customer service, requirements analysis and documentation, coding, testing, and troubleshooting software, data, hardware, and reporting issues for internal and external clients. The position involves developing and testing COBOL, Natural, and JCL applications to meet design specifications, documenting current processes, creating and reviewing project specification modifications, and developing test cases for new and modified programs. The role requires analyzing, documenting, designing, and developing logical, structured programs and systems that meet customer needs and can be maintained by others, while adhering to agency programming documentation, procedural standards, and management goals. A key responsibility is integrating incoming and outgoing NASWA SIDES exchange data streams into the existing core legacy processing architecture, which necessitates comprehensive systems analysis and modification of current runtime routines, user interface screens, database tables, and batch processing jobs. This integration requires a dedicated analysis phase for each of the four SIDES Exchanges due to varying data formats, triggers, and validation rules.
