About The Position

Custom Filters Direct is a growing HVAC air filter manufacturer seeking dependable, mechanically inclined Machine Operators to operate and monitor automated production equipment. Candidates hired for 2nd shift must be available to complete approximately 1–2 weeks of training on 1st shift, Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, before moving to their regular 2nd shift schedule. Overtime may be required based on business and production needs.

Requirements

• Machine operating, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting ability.
• Comfortable working with automated equipment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated manufacturing equipment.
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers.
• Clear jams and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
• Keep machines supplied with materials and running efficiently.
• Perform quality checks on finished products.
• Complete basic production documentation.
• Report equipment problems and work with Maintenance when needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
