About The Position
This position will operate reach truck forklift operator to test our robotic forklifts and help us improve reliability and the operator experience. You'll operate the forklifts both by interacting with our state-of-the-art automation technology and manually.
Requirements
- Current OSHA forklift operator certification for indoor forklift operation is required.
- Experience with standard office productivity tools (Google Docs, Slack, etc.)
- High School Diploma
- Current OSHA forklift operator certification
- English language proficiency
- Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
Nice To Haves
- Experience with warehouse software tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Unload, inspect and verify inbound shipments
- Stock all materials in appropriate warehouse locations
- Pick, pack and stage material orders
- Consolidate ordered materials and verify order accuracy
- Create shipping manifests and tickets and load delivery trucks
- Assemble and install test payloads
- Manage Third Wave’s autonomous forklifts via our software system.
- Complete start of shift daily inspections
- Complete end of shift truck putaway
- Complete proper documentation of product issues during production, safety reports, etc
- Operate autonomous forklifts in the distribution center
- Manage forklifts via software system
