The Autodesk BIM Manager – Civil3D leads and coordinates civil information modeling production, policies, procedures, and standards. The role serves as an authority on Autodesk interoperability and technical standards, helping ensure seamless integration of systems, data, and workflows across JMT for consistent project delivery. It collaborates on establishing and governing Autodesk standards and serves as an escalation point for issues affecting standards or workflows. Compensation is $110,000–$130,000, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications. The stated range is a good-faith estimate and may vary based on the selected candidate’s experience.

Responsibilities

Contribute to defining and governing how Autodesk tools, platforms, and data are configured, connected, and scaled across the organization.
Assist in developing firmwide Autodesk Civil 3D standards, including interoperability, model and data exchange, data federation, metadata, and deliverable packaging.
Guide project managers and design teams on model development and coordination, and interface with project managers regarding team capability requirements.
Apply best practices to JMT design and production processes, helping teams implement repeatable, compliant project designs aligned with firmwide standards and client requirements.
Develop client model standards and maintain Civil 3D standards, including project setup templates, drawing, object, and label styles, tool palettes, CAD standards, QA/QC requirements, and standardized deliverables.
Coordinate with leadership to manage controlled changes, versioning, and rollout of client and internal design standards across the firm.
Contribute to automation efforts that support standards enforcement, configuration consistency, and reduced manual effort.
Collaborate on job aids, playbooks, internal documentation, and workflow- and standards-based training materials.
Contribute to communities of practice, office hours, and targeted training and coaching focused on Autodesk Civil 3D adoption and use; assist with sharing this knowledge throughout the organization.
Use escalation trends and project feedback to refine standards and enablement strategies and identify additional training or SOP documentation needs.
Assist with research into new and emerging technologies that can be leveraged through existing CADD investments.
Manage model integration and supporting design platforms, including Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Autodesk Forma, and Bentley Infrastructure Cloud.
Act as an escalation support point for complex issues requiring standards interpretation, workflow decisions, or governance direction for Civil 3D and related applications.
Approve Autodesk upgrade direction and timing, ensuring changes align with enterprise standards and minimize downstream impacts.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
