About The Position

This entry-level position is a member of the Autoclave area under the Inspection Department, who comprise a portion of the Manufacturing Team. This position will be expected to execute the required responsibilities and tasks necessary to perform as an Autoclave Operator using current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) according to approved SOP’s in order to support the overall mission of the Manufacturing Team.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent, required.
Must be able to read documents in Standard English such as Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance schedules and operating manuals.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Loads and unloads trays and carts into sterilizers.
Operates steam sterilizers, (autoclaves).
Monitors recording devices and initiates corrective action.
Records data onto charts, batch records and logbooks.
Transports product.
Cleans and performs maintenance checks on the sterilizers according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
Performs housekeeping duties in and around Autoclave areas.
Operates Autoclaves according to SOP.
Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.
