About The Position

Goodwill Staffing is a full-service staffing agency within Goodwill of Colorado, offering temporary-to-hire and temporary day labor positions in the Colorado Springs and Denver areas. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to turn permanent. The client, Creative Fabrications, is seeking a detail-oriented shop drawing detailer to create shop drawings for metal fabrication. These drawings will be submitted to Project Managers, Architects, and General Contractors for approval. Creative Fabrications works in both the residential and commercial metal fabrication industries, manufacturing products such as stairs, railings, awnings, structural steel packages, and other miscellaneous metal items. This position requires a professional attitude, ability to interact with and relay critical information to shop employees, Project Managers, and the company owner. Reliability is essential to being successful in this position. There will be occasional offsite field measurements required.

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Solid Works experience
• Print reading
• Ability to interpret drawings
• Commercial/Residential construction knowledge
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• 2D & 3D Programming for Plasma Cutting Machines

Nice To Haves

• Two years industry experience is advantageous
• DraftSight: 1 year (preferred)
• AutoCAD: 1 year (preferred)
