About The Position

New West Truck Centres is a busy, ICBC-accredited autobody and commercial repair facility with consistent workflow, modern equipment, and a strong reputation across Western Canada. We are hiring Apprentice and Journeyman Autobody Technicians who want steady work and the opportunity to grow in a commercial repair environment. This role is a fit if you want consistent hours and reliable workflow, take pride in clean, quality repairs, and are looking to develop your trade with strong mentorship. The work involves approximately 80% body repair, including structural and non-structural collision repairs on trucks and equipment, panel removal, replacement, alignment, and adjustments, surface prep including sanding, grinding, masking, and priming, supporting or performing refinishing work depending on experience, and tear-downs and rebuilds. You will also follow OEM repair procedures and shop quality standards. Approximately 20% of the role involves shop support, such as assisting technicians and painters during repairs, maintaining tools, equipment, and workspace, supporting parts handling and organization, and following all health and safety procedures. This is a full-time, steady work position with consistent shop volume, a mix of ICBC and commercial fleet repairs, and minimal downtime due to strong workflow. This description is a summary and not exhaustive. Full role expectations will be discussed during the interview process. We are open to local and out-of-town applicants.
