About The Position
PRS Auto is hiring immediately for individuals to unload (drive) new automobiles off of Railcars working at the Norfolk Southern Walkertown, NC rail terminal! This is an entry-level position with the opportunity for growth for individuals who are interested in a career in the railroad industry. We have several locations throughout the country and pride ourselves on promoting qualified individuals for future Advancement. Applicants must currently live within a 45-minute commute of Walkertown, NC. Out of area candidates and/or those requiring relocation will NOT be considered. You'll typically work first shift, however, our schedules vary and you must be flexible for start and finish times. Also, you must be available during weekends and holidays. Safety is our #1 goal.
Requirements
- Possess a valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pass a 7-year background check and a drug test
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs above your head
- Must be able to climb various heights (Not afraid of heights)
- Must currently live within a 45-minute commute of Walkertown, NC
Responsibilities
- Set up mechanical lifts that align with railcars
- Unload automobiles off of railcars
