About The Position
The Automotive Technician maintains automobiles by conducting systems and components inspections, analyzing performance variations, isolating defective components, repairing engine/transmission failures and mechanical and electrical system malfunctions.
Requirements
- Must have own tools
- At least two (2) years’ experience in general automotive repair and service
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized and able to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to promote and live ETE Values on a daily basis.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with transmission replacement
Responsibilities
- Conduct systems and component inspections and tests, running diagnostic reports and researching literature.
- Repair automotive problems and engine/transmission failures.
- Perform preventative maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, lubrications, systems checks, tire rotations, and replacing worn parts.
- Verify automobile serviceability by conducting test drives and making appropriate adjustments.
