Auto Technician - General Service (Part-Time)
About The Position
This is a part-time role for an intermediate-level auto technician. You will perform light-duty work and improve your skills in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include gaining familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices, performing various auto maintenance duties such as oil and filter changes, fuel filter changes, transmission flushes, spark plug replacements, and vehicle inspections. You will also conduct battery testing, maintenance, and replacement, repair starting and charging electrical systems, perform tire repairs, safety inspections, and interior/exterior component repairs. Additionally, you will diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension systems, perform AC system evacuation and recharge, and maintain equipment. You will utilize approved vendors for parts and may upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment. Compliance with regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash is also required.
Requirements
- 1 or more years of related work experience.
- The ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities
