Auto Shop Helper
About The Position
Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Auto Shop Helper to perform all-purpose duties. This role involves maintaining the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, including emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted parts, assisting in cleaning spray booths, and organizing tools and equipment. The helper will also maintain parking lots and grounds, and perform minor equipment and building maintenance/repairs as needed. Adherence to Caliber’s Standard Operating Procedure and center procedures is crucial for timely repairs.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
- Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal.
- Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area.
- Empty waste cans daily.
- Sweep floors.
- Dispose of unwanted parts.
- Assist in cleaning of spray booths.
- Place tools and equipment in their proper location.
- Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Perform minor equipment and building maintenance/repairs when necessary.
- Follow all guidelines in accordance with Caliber’s Standard Operating Procedure and center procedures.
