Responsible for inspecting and testing vehicles, completing preventive maintenance such as tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, alignments, oil changes, replacing filters, and fluid exchanges. This role involves mentoring other Auto Service Techs, performing vehicle alignments, maintaining shop equipment and safety practices, detecting and performing mechanical repairs, servicing customer vehicles, recommending products and services, quoting repairs, and potentially initiating purchase orders for parts. The technician is also responsible for completing all necessary training and maintaining certifications, including ASE A7 or 609 AC and ASE A6. They must support company safety and operational standards, adhere to audit requirements, and may assist with phones and the front counter.
