About The Position

The Retail Auto & Tire Store Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and daily operations of the store. This position ensures efficient operations, strong financial results, and excellent customer service while maintaining a safe, professional, and team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of management experience in automotive, tire, or retail service industry preferred
  • Strong understanding of automotive repair, tire services, and shop operations
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive business performance
  • Financial understanding of KPIs and cost control
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Results-driven with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound decision-making and accountability
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends (as needed)
  • Comfortable working in a retail and shop environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the workday
  • Occasional lifting of tires and automotive parts

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily store operations including sales, service, and workflow execution
  • Manage scheduling, bay efficiency, and overall shop productivity
  • Maintain store standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance
  • Drive sales performance across tires, automotive services, and maintenance
  • Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) such as revenue, gross profit, labor sales, and individual sales
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships
  • Ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and cash handling procedures
  • Deliver and enforce exceptional customer service standards
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members
  • Coach employees to improve performance and maintain accountability
  • Oversee quality control for all services and repairs
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Promote a professional work environment and positive team culture
