About The Position
Carvana is seeking skilled Auto Painters with a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive painting experience to join their team. As an Experienced Painter, you will be responsible for painting vehicles using various techniques including base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats, as well as blending adjacent panels and performing paint correction. The role operates on a second shift, four 10-hour day schedule, Monday through Thursday, from 6:30 PM to 5:30 AM. Carvana is the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and offers a competitive wage and benefits.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional automotive painting experience
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- An ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- Ability to sometimes be exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Willingness to use safety equipment (face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment)
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
