About The Position

Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Painter Helper to prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter and support an efficient workflow. The role may include sanding and buffing, as well as maintaining the paint booth and workspace. Helpers are expected to repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards, using state-of-the-art equipment.

This position offers hands-on experience in a production shop and career growth opportunities, including promotion from within. Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Be able to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous collision experience.
• Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter.
• Support an efficient workflow.
