About The Position

Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Painter Helper at its Service Center in Ashland. The role prepares vehicles for painting in cooperation with an Auto Painter, supporting an efficient workflow. Duties may include sanding and buffing, as well as maintaining the paint booth and workspace. Helpers repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using state-of-the-art equipment. The position offers $16–$20 per hour/flag hour. Employees gain hands-on experience in a production shop and may have career growth opportunities, including promotion from within.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy.
Be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
Be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
Be able to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

Previous collision experience.
Collision Vo-Tech certification.
