About The Position

DeVivo Companies has an opening for a full-time, alternative-shift Auto Paint Prepper at our body shop in Middletown, CT. Preppers individually prepare each vehicle throughout the repair process to help our technicians deliver high quality repairs. This is an entry level position that offers the opportunity to learn our business operations and grow your career. Requirements

• 1+ years’ experience in a related field
• High school diploma, trade school or equivalent
• Be able to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment
• Driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• I-CAR or ASE training

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles properly for paint, including washing, taping, masking, etc.
• Identify imperfections
• Rub and polish completed vehicles
• Assist technician in other areas as assigned
• Attend/collaborate with team during daily production meetings
• Work closely with coworkers to meet deadlines
• Keep parts area clean and organized for production efficiency
• Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner.
