About The Position

DriveWhip is a mobility provider in the Washington, DC area, with offices in multiple cities, including Atlanta. They lease/rent vehicles to Uber, Lyft, and other On-Demand or Rideshare drivers. As a ground floor member of an exciting new company, all associates will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities. An appreciation for the pros and cons of start-up culture is a must. Their goal is to deliver superior customer service, respect, expertise, and responsiveness to their customers. As stewards of the company, associates will be responsible for awarding every customer with a positive rental experience. DriveWhip is looking for an "Auto Repair Rockstar" or Service Technician to join their team. This role is crucial for keeping their rideshare fleet in peak condition, handling everything from routine maintenance to complex repairs to ensure drivers can stay on the road and make money.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in auto repairs and diagnostics.
B-Level or Higher certification (Required).
Proficiency with engines, brakes, and electrical systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
Team player with the ability to work fast, smart, and with a positive attitude.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance issues on vehicles.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake jobs.
Collaborate with the team to optimize the fleet and ensure vehicles are ready for use.
Utilize modern diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems and perform efficient repairs.
Work with the service and operations team to ensure fast and reliable vehicle turnaround.
