Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and skilled Auto Mechanic to join our team at Universal Motorcars. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an auto mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and diagnostic tools.
• ASE certification or equivalent mechanical certification preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Good communication skills and customer-oriented attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical vocational training is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems including brakes, engines, transmissions, and suspension.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Keep accurate records of repair work and maintenance performed.
• Work closely with service advisors and other team members to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
