About The Position

SCR Medical Transportation LLC is seeking an Auto Mechanic to join their team. This role involves assessing and repairing vehicles and machinery, diagnosing and fixing issues, and communicating with clients and drivers about automotive needs and vehicle defects. The mechanic will perform routine inspections, provide quotes and work estimates, maintain accurate logs of work performed, and ensure garage equipment and tools are kept clean and in safe, usable condition. Adherence to company safety policies is required, along with performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• One (1) year of mechanic experience.
• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues.
• Liaise with clients and drivers to determine their automotive requirements and communicate vehicular defects or problems.
• Provide routine inspections of vehicles and inform clients of any issues.
• Prepare quotes and work estimates as requested.
• Keep an accurate log of all work performed.
• Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.
• Adhere to company work safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
