About The Position
Elite Auto Clinic of Gun Lake is seeking an experienced Auto Mechanic to join their team. This role involves performing a wide range of repairs and maintenance on domestic and foreign passenger vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension. The mechanic will work as part of a small, core team alongside the two owner-technicians, taking ownership of their work and ensuring all procedures are followed consistently. Occasional direct communication with customers about their vehicles is also part of the role. The shop emphasizes quality work, a drama-free team environment, and a commitment to work-life balance with weekends off.
Requirements
- State certification
- Professional shop experience – both dealership or independent shop experience welcome
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workflow
- Strong attention to detail
- A positive, low-drama attitude that fits a tight-knit team

- Diagnostic experience
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance on domestic and foreign passenger vehicles: engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and more
- Take ownership of your work and stay on task throughout the day with minimal direction
- Follow all procedures completely and consistently - every step, every time
- Occasionally communicate directly with customers about their vehicle
