Auto Liability Claims Adjuster
About The Position
Special Project - Temporary Auto Liability Claims Adjuster Assignment. In this role, you'll be reviewing existing claim files which are in various stages of development and taking the action(s) required to settle and/or close each claim in a timely manner. Depending upon each claim's status, you may be requesting documentation from insureds, claimants and other parties, determining coverage and/or liability assessment, and reviewing and paying auto damage estimates. The claims involve auto physical damages and will be handled by phone from the client's office Monday through Friday. There is no field work, no injury files, and no vehicle damage estimating duties. You must be organized and have the ability to structure and prioritize your day.
Requirements
- 2 Plus years experience working for an insurer (carrier preferred) handling auto liability claims.
- Experience coordinating claims investigation.
- Experience determining coverage.
- Experience assessing liability.
- Experience settling customer's auto damage claims.
- Ability to structure and prioritize your day.
- Organized.
