About The Position

Auto Glass Now is seeking a driven and people-oriented individual to join their team as a Shop Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a team of Auto Glass Technicians in various settings, including airports, retail locations, or mobile operations. The company emphasizes career growth, with many management positions filled by individuals who started in entry-level roles. Auto Glass Now provides comprehensive paid training, enabling individuals with no prior experience to become proficient in managing a shop and repairing/replacing automotive glass within 60 days. Successful managers can earn competitive salaries and lucrative bonuses.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
• Must be able to maneuver around vehicles to position yourself safely during installations
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must pass a drug test for safety
• Must be willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion
• Must have basic computer operating skills

• Some of our most successful shop managers are those that joined the team with no experience at all, but were once glass technicians, construction workers, mechanics, retail employees, landscapers, and other trade workers!

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, & training new Glass Techs and Customer Service Reps
• Creating employee schedules & submitting payroll
• Controlling inventory: Conduct End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) inventory
• Balance registers, close out invoices, and make bank deposits
• Placing product orders and physically restocking inventory as necessary
• Understanding the shop’s financials to drive results and utilize budget wisely
• Conducting quarterly employee evaluations
• Supporting other team members with duties such as responding to customers questions and repairing glass
• Providing excellent customer service
