About The Position
GB Auto is a market-leading provider of automotive services, products and technology, servicing the mining, construction, transport and agricultural industries. We are seeking skilled and motivated Auto Electricians to join our growing team, working on a diverse range of mining, agricultural, and civil equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your diagnostic expertise in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for fault finding, repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of heavy machinery and mobile equipment.
Requirements
- Australian-recognised Auto Electrical Trade Qualification
- Air Conditioning Licence (RHL) or relevant experience
- Current Driver's Licence
- Experience working on heavy vehicles, mobile plant, machinery, or mining equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage field-based service work
- Safety-focused with a commitment to following procedures
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on mining, agricultural, and civil equipment.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Complete work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Work autonomously in the field and collaboratively within a team environment.
