Experienced Auto Detailer
About The Position
Duke Chevrolet GMC in Suffolk, VA is seeking an experienced auto detail technician capable of all aspects of detailing vehicles. The shop is fully air-conditioned and equipped with all necessary tools. Responsibilities include preparing new vehicles for delivery, reconditioning trade vehicles, and performing tasks such as buffing and waxing. Requirements
- Experience as an Auto Detail tech.
- Attention to details.
- Ability to work outdoors and be physically active for extended periods of time.
- Ability to drive manual transmission.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must pay strong attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Buffing experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Clean new vehicles for inventory or sold delivery.
- Recondition trade vehicles for inventory.
- Wash and detail the exterior and interior of new, pre-owned, and service vehicles.
- Clean carpet and upholstery, shampoo, vacuum, and treat leather upholstery, dashboards, etc.
- Perform engine cleaning.
- Buffing and waxing vehicles.
- Communicate vehicle/scheduling/maintenance issues with Management.
