About The Position

DriveWhip is a mobility provider in the Washington, DC area, with offices in multiple cities, that leases/rents vehicles to Uber, Lyft and other On-Demand or Rideshare drivers. As a ground floor member of an exciting new company, all associates will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities. An appreciation for the pros and cons of start-up culture is a must. Our goal is to deliver superior customer service, respect, expertise, and responsiveness to our customers. As stewards of our company, you will be responsible for awarding every customer with a positive rental experience.

Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible to be on-call, as needed
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to carry collateral materials and displays
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must have a valid US driver's license for a minimum of 1 year.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in the last 6 years in any of the following (will consider PT experience): Customer service, administrative, labor, retail, auto body shop, etc.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush, or by operating washing equipment
• Polish, dry, and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats, and exterior body, by hand
• Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener, and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)
• Determine need for and add windshield fluid, gas, oil, water, and antifreeze
• Perform basic maintenance check: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
• Verify appropriate stickers are attached to vehicle (registration, plates, etc.)
• May be responsible for maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies
• May assist with local automobile deliveries
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Shuttle cars to and from car washes and dealerships for servicing
• Transport cars to and from offices
• Check fluid levels
• Change tires
