About The Position
Duke Chevrolet GMC in Suffolk, VA is seeking an experienced auto detail technician capable of all aspects of detailing vehicles. The shop is fully air-conditioned and equipped with all necessary tools. Responsibilities include preparing new vehicles for delivery, reconditioning trade vehicles, and performing tasks such as buffing and waxing. The dealership is family-owned and operated, serving the Suffolk community for over 55 years with a culture built on integrity and long-term careers. Requirements
- Experience as an Auto Detail tech.
- Attention to details
- Ability to work outdoors and be physically active for extended periods of time.
- Ability to drive manual transmission.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must pay strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Clean new vehicles for inventory or sold delivery.
- Recondition trade vehicles for inventory.
- Wash and detail the exterior and interior of new, pre-owned, and service vehicles.
- Clean carpet and upholstery, shampoo, vacuum, and clean/treat leather upholstery, dashboards, etc.
- Perform engine cleaning.
- Communicate vehicle/scheduling/maintenance issues with Management.
