Requirements

3-5 Years in Auto Casualty claims experience is a MUST!
Minimum 5 years of Auto Bodily Injury Casualty experience to be considered hybrid/remote
Knowledge of legal and medical terminology
Excellent negotiation, communication, written, organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to pass written examinations where required by state statutes to become a licensed claims adjuster
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Nice To Haves

Non-Standard Auto Claims experience preferred, not required

Responsibilities

Review and determine the course of action on each assigned file, using technical knowledge and experience for final disposition.
Conduct thorough investigations and maintain accurate documentation of file activity, including coverage, liability status, and applicable damages.
Process Bodily Injury and coverage claims according to established office procedures.
Collaborate with Third Parties, plaintiff counsel, Claim Director, and Chief Operating Officer to determine necessary injury and coverage investigation.
Research case and statutory law for proper claim investigation.
Document policy status, coverage, liability, and damages on all claims and notify re-insurers on qualifying claims.
Prepare and present claim evaluations for settlement authority.
Maintain reasonable expense factors.
Handle other assigned duties.
