Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of broad body shop experience required.
- High attention to detail.
- Quick and highly efficient yet able to maintain high quality standards.
- Must have your own set of tools and be willing to continue to build your inventory of tools over time.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Continued training for iCar & ASE
Nice To Haves
- Specializing in tear downs and reassemblies and capable of handling a high volume of both each day.
- Personality that sees tear downs and reassemblies as a challenge and something to look forward to.
- Desire to gain experience in all parts of the body work process on an ongoing basis to keep skills sharp.
Responsibilities
- Primary tech for all teardowns, damage analysis & repair estimates–working closet with the estimator.
- Use the frame rack and measuring system to check for frame damage.
- Use frame rack & associated pullers to repair damaged frames.
- Removal & replacement of parts as needed to fix and repair body damage.
- Fixing non structural damage-dent or cosmetic repairs
- Plastic repair / welding
