Auto Body Technician (Kingsway)
About The Position
The Auto Body Technician is responsible for structural and non-structural repairs, and will disassemble, repair, and reassemble each vehicle. The Auto Body Technician works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs. Assured Automotive, part of The Boyd Group, has been providing quality workmanship on collision repairs for over 30 years and offers numerous locations throughout Western and Central Canada. Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience
- Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair Program
- Able to lift up to 50 Lbs
- Have your own toolbox
- Valid driver’s license required
Nice To Haves
- Red Seal or 310B is preferred
- I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)
Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
- Repair damage to vehicle body panels
- Vehicle disassembly and reassembly
- Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories
- Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle
- Assess and repair structural components of a vehicle
- Use of frame equipment
- Apply new knowledge and skills to ensure a high level of quality and productivity, which directly contributes to KPI’s (Sales/ CP/ EBITA/ BHPD/ NPS).
- Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously seek learning opportunities to improve performance
