At Caliber, an Auto Body Technician plays a crucial role in restoring vehicles after accidents. Technicians are responsible for comprehensive collision repair, from minor fender benders to complex frame rebuilds, ensuring precise repairs, structural integrity, and high-quality reassembly to meet factory specifications.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience turning wrecks into road-ready rides.
  • Ability to pull, straighten, and square up frames and structural components.
  • No-shortcuts mentality; blueprint and fix it right the first time.
  • Sharp eye for detail, committed to tightened bolts and perfected welds.
  • Physically fit for the job; able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Team-first attitude; collaborate with painters, estimators, and front office staff.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

  • Blueprint and execute clean, precise repairs.
  • Perform full collision repair, from fender benders to frame rebuilds.
  • Handle panel and structural work, bringing bent, twisted, or torn parts back to factory specs.
  • Ensure quality reassembly, focusing on fit and finish.
  • Collaborate with painters, estimators, and front office staff.
  • Maintain work location safety and tidiness.
