About The Position

The Auto Body Technician is responsible for structural and non-structural repairs, and will disassemble, repair, and reassemble each vehicle. The Auto Body Technician works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs. This role involves ensuring consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan, repairing damage to vehicle body panels, vehicle disassembly and reassembly, and repairing or replacing interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories. The technician will also remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle, assess and repair structural components using frame equipment, and apply new knowledge and skills to ensure a high level of quality and productivity, contributing to KPIs such as Sales, CP, EBITA, BHPD, and NPS. The role requires taking responsibility for outcomes and continuously seeking learning opportunities to improve performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience
  • Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair Program
  • Able to lift up to 50 Lbs
  • Have your own toolbox
  • Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

  • Red Seal or 310B is preferred
  • I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)
