About The Position
Horsepower Automotive Group (HPAG) is a leader in the automotive aftermarket industry, specializing in manufacturing premium off-road truck parts from raw material to finished product, entirely in-house in Arizona. This is a production fabrication role, not a traditional body shop position. The role involves working with new metal daily, focusing on prepping, finishing, and quality-checking components for trucks nationwide. Requirements
- Hands-on experience in auto body, metal fabrication, or a related metal trade
- Comfortable running angle grinders, dual-action sanders, chisels, and needle scalers
- A sharp eye for detail and pride in the quality of your work
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work at pace and adapt as priorities shift
- 18+ with a high school diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Surface grinding and DA finishing to exact quality standards
- Removing weld berries and performing minor weld repairs
- Operating press forming dimple dies
- Ensuring tight fitment on small part components
- Hitting production targets and quality benchmarks every shift
