Caliber is seeking an Auto Body Technician for its Service Center in Salem, OR. Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in auto body repair, turning damaged vehicles into road-ready ones.
  • Possess frame and structural know-how, including the ability to pull, straighten, and square vehicle frames.
  • Demonstrate a no-shortcuts mentality, committed to blueprinting and fixing repairs correctly the first time.
  • Exhibit a sharp eye for detail, ensuring tightened bolts, perfected welds, and high-quality work.
  • Be physically fit for the job, capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Maintain a team-first attitude, collaborating with painters, estimators, and front office staff.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

  • Blueprint and execute clean, precise repairs without guesswork or shortcuts.
  • Perform full collision repair, handling everything from fender benders to frame rebuilds.
  • Conduct panel and structural work, restoring bent, twisted, or torn components to factory specifications.
  • Ensure quality reassembly, paying attention to fit and finish for a significant final touch.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team to move cars through the repair process.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work location, prioritizing tidiness and safety.
