Responsibilities

• Evaluate the extent of damage to a vehicle's body after an accident or other incidents.
• Employ various techniques to repair damaged panels, including straightening, welding, and filling.
• Replace damaged or rusted panels with new ones.
• Remove rust and corrosion from vehicle bodies.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and applying filler.
• Apply paint and clear coat to vehicle bodies, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
• Polish and buff the vehicle to restore its shine.
• Some technicians also work on customizing vehicles by adding aftermarket parts or modifying existing ones.
• Some technicians also work with car lights and windows.
