Entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician (2nd Shift)
About The Position
We are seeking an Entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician for the 2nd shift to join Carvana, a rapidly growing used automotive retailer. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for paint, which includes tasks such as sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing. The work environment is a high-tech Inspection Center, and while the role is entry-level, training is provided. Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment.
- Ability to sometimes be exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
- Willingness to use safety equipment (face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment).
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
