About The Position

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a qualified Auto Body Refinish Prepper to join their team. This role involves preparing vehicles for refinishing to ensure a quality repair, restoring them to pre-accident condition. The position requires thorough sanding, masking, priming, and preparation of vehicles according to insurance guidelines and collision repair facility standards. Requirements

Ability to perform surface preparation, vehicle masking, priming, and top coating.
Ability to apply all primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats, and clear coats.
Ability to complete restoration of anti-corrosion treatments, substrate identification, product mixing, and application.
Ability to evaluate bodywork to ensure a quality paint job will result.
Ability to prepare the vehicle to ensure a quality refinish repair of each customer’s vehicle to restore it back to pre-accident condition.
Ability to thoroughly sand, mask, prime, and prepare each vehicle for refinishing as per insurance guidelines and standards at the collision repair facility.
