LDV, Inc. is the world leader in the manufacture of custom specialty vehicles, located in Burlington, Wisconsin. We build state-of-the-art, 45-foot mobile command centers with satellite communications, SWAT and tactical vehicles, real life CSI trucks, Snap-on® tool trucks and more. This is a rare opportunity to join our team! We are seeking a full-time Auto-Body Prep Technician candidate with a variety of experience and skill levels to assist in prep and painting our custom vehicles.
Requirements
- Experience with air tools is desired.
- Experience with industrial or single stage painting.
- Quality, accuracy, and the ability to work within a crew in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess attention to detail, be motivated and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Prep vehicles and parts for paint
- Mix primer, sealer, and paint
- Assist to perform minor body repairs
- Assist to paint vehicles and parts as needed
- Able to measure and mix filler and paint accurately (using volume ratios)
- Maintain a clean work area
