About The Position

Impact Workforce Solutions is hiring Auto Body Painters / Industrial Painters in Indianapolis, IN. Available shifts include 1st, 3rd, and a Weekend Shift, with overtime currently available.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with PPE requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically active conditions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in auto body painting, industrial painting, manufacturing painting, or spray painting preferred
Auto body repair or painting
Industrial or manufacturing paint systems
Sandblasting and surface preparation
Railcar or locomotive painting
Technical training in auto body or paint programs

Responsibilities

Sand, grind, prep, mask, and tape locomotive and railcar components for painting
Apply decals, coatings, primers, and finishes using pressure spray systems
Perform touch-ups, bodywork, and paint repairs as needed
Power wash and clean railcars and locomotive parts before painting
Conduct sandblasting and surface preparation for proper paint adhesion
Mix paints and coatings to customer specifications
Operate equipment including forklifts, cranes, manlifts, and pneumatic tools
Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on paint equipment
Maintain a clean and organized work area
